First of all I would like to congratulate Beth and Nate on becoming parents of a beautiful baby! Sawyer is sooooo cute! Thank you to his two wonderful aunts, Amy and Meg, for posting pictures of him so we can see. I would have to agree with everyone else that he looks like Nate. (Beth-what the heck? Can't our kids look like us?) I would also like to congratulate Beth on having him naturally...very impressed since he was so big! However, I am also very jealous that you got to have an epidural...pain meds are God's gift to women in labor.
I am sorry that I have been such a horrible blogger, even worse than normal for me. I have actually been doing something with my life though. I was approved last Friday for starting a daycare at my house. I got all the paperwork done, all the classes taken, and passed the home inspection. I was up until 2 am on Wed and Thurs cleaning since I also had to work both nights. But it all got done and now I just have to find some kids to watch that won't drive me crazy.
Also, we had some problems with our camera again. We lost the pictures that were taken from the Monday after his baptism in October through the last time I came home in the middle of November. I was very upset and pissed beyond belief. It turned out to be the memory card. So yesterday we took it to a camera place and they recovered some of the pictures, but they could not get the ones from the last time I was home. So I am happy about the others, but still kind of sad. I know there were some really good ones that were lost. Moral of the story...as soon as you can put your pictures on your computer, don't wait until the card is full!
Max update-
He went to the doctor yesterday. He now weighs 18 lbs 11 oz.-97%, is in the 95% for height, and his head is unfortunately in the 100%. Don says it is because he has a big brain. Good news is that he is proportionate and doing everything he should be. He has also figured out how to go backwards when he is on his tummy. He tries so hard to go forward and gets pissed. I am excited that he is doing all this, but I kind of want my little immobile baby back. He has also started to explore the wonderful world of food. He is hard-core into rice cereal. He says it has a lot of flavor. To me it looks like colorless cat puke. Yummy!!! Today we are going to try sweet potatoes. The doctor told us to do veggies before fruits. I am very upset by this because I personally like baby food fruits. I know, it is for Max to eat not me.

From his baptism

He was a puppy dog for Halloween. However, he did not want to have is picture taken with the pumpkin. He just wanted to try and chew on the ears of his costume. Too cute!!

He ate cereal for the first time on Thanksgiving. We got him naked so it wouldn't be such a mess to clean up. He did a really good job though, and we could have kept him dressed. Now he mows down the stuff like the little piggie that he is.
Gotta go...he is waking up from his nap!
